this 14" natural wicker hamper basket is made from steamed autumn willow, finished with sturdy faux leather straps for closing the hamper baskets and a decorative faux leather carry handle.
 
willow is naturally sustainable as it grows prolifically throughout the northern hemisphere and is harvested regularly through the year.
 
for a more natural finish, the willow is boiled for 6 - 8 hours to achieve the dark colour rather than using varnish or dyes. this 14" wicker basket is ideal for giving gifts, so please try and reuse as much as possible. as this product is hand-made, the size and colour varies from batch to batch, however we think this only adds to the wicker hampers natural charm.
 
the wood wool used, for filling the hamper and protecting the gifts, is completely eco-friendly and sustainably sourced.
